The largest and most popular thermal park on the island of Ischia is the Poseidon Gardens. This is where you will find 22 pools, a beauty centre, 8,000 sqm of beach, 500 m of coast, and 6 hectares of terracing.
The park is located in the bay of “Citara”, where 22 therapeutic thermal pools have been built following the modern and medical techniques.
Every pool has a temperature that goes from 15°C to 40°C and due to the vast amount of water is constantly renewed,very unique for the thermal pools.

You will be required to a medical examination on admission, to ensure it is safe for treatments on the premises.
How to reach Giardini Poseidon
The Thermal Poseidon park is located in the town of Forio in the bay of “Citara”, where is very easy to get to by bus or by car. From the port of Ischia if you come by care, follow the signs for Forio (15km) and then it is signed to “Citara” beach. From the port of Casamicciola it is the same (13km). For a small fee, Poseidon Gardens have a private parking place for guests. If you use the bus, the lines are 2, 9, 21, 22, 23, 24 they stop just a few minutes walk away from the park while lines 1,CD and CS are 1km away (15 mins) walk.
Date and times of opening
The park is open everyday from April 15th to October 31st between 9am to 7pm.
Wellness centre: Between 9.30am to 7pm. From the 2nd of October, closing time is a half an hour earlier.
