Gun’s Museum of Castello Aragonese

The Museum is located right in the Castello Aragonese at Ischia Ponte. The museum houses a large collection of swords, knives and firearms, sabers and torture instruments from all over Europe from 1600 onwards. Among the most important pieces there are: halberds, swords, daggers, axes, a spiked ball, an armour, a catapult, shotguns and pistols. In the torture tools room you can see, among others, a spiked bust, a death pole, a breakaway, a Spanish garrota, a cage of death, a guillotine and a chastity belt both for men and women.

How to reach Gun’s Museum

The Museum is located in the town of Ischia Porto just 2 km from the port. It is easily reachable by bus or by car along the main road that surrounds the island. For those who prefer to move around by car, nearby you will find six parking lots. By bus, the bus stop is at the entrance of the bridge that leads to the castle and the route is covered by the Ischia Porto / Ischia Ponte line 7.

From 14/04 to 15/10 2018 every day from 9am to 7 pm.
