Restaurant “Vigna d’Alberto”

In the hills above Ischia Porto is the rustic homey restaurant La Vigna di Alberto. Owner Franco di Scala is a third generation restauranteur who returned to Ischia after several years in Rome, renovating his family’s old wine cantina into this cozy space. Dine outside under the grape arbor for a magical evening of casual fun.

The menu offers the island’s specialties, which include both seafood and meat, along with vegetable based dishes, too. Creamy risotto or a perfect al dente pasta are on the line up, served with house made wine. It’s a down home kind of place that locals come to, off the beaten path in the hills near Barano.
