Restaurant “Il Bracconiere”

The restaurant “Il Bracconiere”

At 480 meters above sea level, the air is kept cool even in the hottest and humid summer days, a rustic and welcoming environment just a few meters from the highest peaks of the island, very friendly staff. The interiors of the restaurant reflect the old farmhouses of Ischia, in tuff and wood, with a large veranda overlooking the southern side of the island and lost in the immense blue of the sea.

Dishes

Among the specialties all on the ground, we recommend the rigatoni alla Bracconiere, the bucatini al coniglio, the various pappardelle, the rabbit alla cacciatora or the grilled meats (among which the wild boar), to end the bitter “Bracconiere” of the house, if you eat rabbit it is also recommended to take pappardelle or bucatini with rabbit sauce.

Position

On the southern side of Mount Epomeo, about five hundred meters above sea level and two hundred meters from the summit of Frassitelli, convenient to reach by car, has a parking space in front of the place, pay attention only to the last stretch of road, about 500 meters to go along a lane to a lane, very steep in some places. For those who move on foot, the nearest bus stop, is about 1 km about 15 minutes walk.
